Byron Scott Chambers passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017 after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.
Byron was born on July 18, 1976 in Huntsville, Texas to Guy Richard Chambers and Linda Sue Cauthen Chambers. He was raised and lived most of his life in Huntsville and it is where he met and married his wife Heather Valdez on July 9, 1998. Byron worked for Jiffy Lube for nearly 20 years and took pride in his work as a store manager and serving his customers, many of whom became friends. He loved watching NASCAR on television and attending several races in person, collecting sports memorabilia, and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dewitt and Sue Halton Cauthen and his parents.
Byron is survived by his wife Heather, sons Austin and Logan, daughter Graceyn, all of Huntsville; brother Eddie and wife Michelle of Onalaska, Texas; close cousin Tony Morrison and wife Netta of Huntsville, several aunts and uncles, along with numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends.
Anthony Valdez, Billy Cauthen, Chuck Barrett, D.J. Pittman, Eddie Chambers, and Mark Beckett will serve as pallbearers and Tony Morrison and Holden Valdez will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Texas Home Health and Hospice.
Visitation will be held from 6:30 - 9:30 pm on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home.
Services will be at 10:00 am, on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the funeral home with internment following at Oakwood East Cemetery.
