Edward Erwin Kettlewell passed away at the age of 68 in his home in Huntsville, TX on July 2, 2016.
He was born to Allan and Lillian Kettlewell in the year of 1948 in Detroit, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents Allan & Lillian Kettlewell, infant sister Claudia, and grandson Brandon Traylor. He is survived by wife Carla Kettlewell of almost 50 years, daughter Tila Broadway and Theresa Traylor and husband Eddie Traylor and son Edward Kettlewell II, grandsons Corey Broadway and Taylor Kettlewell, granddaughters Kayci Broadway, Kendall Broadway and Carlie Traylor. He is also survived by sisters, Darlene Lubinski, Pamela Przyski, Candace Cavalier and brothers Allan Kettlewell, Donald Kettlewell, Gary Kettlewell and Larry Kettlewell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Edward was a machinist all his working years, and owned and operated Special Gear Products, Inc. for 20 years in Huntsville, TX. He excelled at fixing and inventing things with his hands and always thought of a better way to do things. He loved his family very much and also his numerous cats and dogs.
He chose to be cremated and not to have a public service. He was a very private person and those who knew him will celebrate his life by good memories. He belonged to Faith Lutheran Church in Huntsville, TX.
Thanks to members of the immediate family and Compassionate Care Hospice for making his last few days on this earth comfortable.

His final words to us were "I can and I will" and no doubt he did.
