Edward Harmon Walker, 57, of Montgomery, Texas passed away tragically in a scuba diving accident in Maui, Hawaii, Wednesday, January 24, 2018. He was born to Betty Mae Sealy Walker & the late Warfield Walker Jr. on November 4, 1960 in Dallas, Texas.
Edward graduated from New Waverly High School in 1979 and was the owner of Warfield Construction. His family takes comfort in knowing that he passed away doing what he loved in paradise. He had a love for travel & worldly experiences and enjoyed sharing his tales with friends & family who looked forward to them. Ed loved sharing his adventures of riding & sailing with his grandkids & was anxiously awaiting the arrival of his newest granddaughter Piper Collins Walker. He never ceased to live life to the fullest including never missing a family function.
Edwards memory will be cherished by his daughter & son-in-law Krystal & Jason Merlin of Magnolia, son & daughter-in-law Beau & Holly Walker of Montgomery, & daughter Brittney Walker of Dallas. Grandchildren Justin Herron, Sawyer Herron & Felicity Merlin all of Magnolia & the soon to arrive Piper Walker of Montgomery. He also leaves behind his mother, Betty Walker of New Waverly; siblings Patsy & Clayton Loll of New Waverly, Debbie & John Decker of New Waverly, Stephen Walker of New Waverly, Dave & Linda Walker of Huntsville, Suzie & Terry Woods of Huntsville Donna Kay & Michael Pavelock of Willis and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Warfield Walker Jr. & mentor Buddy Braband.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, February 3rd from 2-4PM at Papas on the Lake; 14632 Tx 105, Montgomery, Tx 77356. Casual attire requested.
