EMMETT's Story

It is with great sadness that the family of Emmett Ryan Asbury announces his sudden passing, on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at the age of 25 years. Emmett was an avid fisherman who enjoyed outdoor living and recreational activities, a self-taught musician and poet. As well as an apprentice electrician, skilled in general construction. Emmett will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Rylee and Cadence Asbury, his mother Melissa Asbury, his father and step-mother James and Tammy Asbury, his two sisters Jamie (Asbury) Littlejohn and husband Justin, and Andrea (Asbury) Dahlstein and husband Aaron, his two brothers Philip and Paul Asbury. His maternal grandparents Jarrell and Annabel Gibson, and JoAnn Chesser. His paternal grandparents Eddie and Loy Cruz. His 3 nephews and 4 nieces. Along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents Raymond and Lenora Gibson and his paternal grandfather David Asbury.
There will be a public viewing for friends and family at the Waller Thornton funeral home in Huntsville, TX on Friday, February 16th from 5-7pm. A memorial service will be held at Family Faith Church in Huntsville, TX on Saturday, February 17th at 11 am.
