Erba Ney's Story
Erba Ney Wayne Mohon was called home to be with our Lord on May 19, 2017, at the age of 85. He was born on June 14, 1931 to John Mohon and Pearl Cook Mohon in Emmett, Arkansas.
He will be remembered as a hard working provider for his family, which he loved dearly. He was an honest and firm man, but would lend a helping hand to anyone in need; and always opening his home to family and friends. He also enjoyed working in his wood shop.
Wayne was very supportive of the Pregnancy Care Center from the day they opened the doors.
Wayne was a member of Cook Springs Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and singing in the choir for many years; and attending Gospel Singings.
Wayne is survived by daughters, Linda Marsalis and husband Paul and Charlotte Westley and husband Steven; grandchildren, Joe Marsalis, Greg Marsalis, Daniel Davidson and wife Lindsey, Nique Marsalis, Michelle Marsalis, Matthew Davidson and wife Kim, and Brandon Westley and wife Katie; and great-grandchildren, Daisy, Colton, Dylan, Kaylee, Savannah, Briar, Jordan, Wyatt, Justin, Gavin, Braydon and Toby.

Mr. Mohon will lie in state from 10:00 AM till 4:00 PM on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville, Texas. Interment will follow the service at Falba Cemetery in Huntsville, Texas.
