Hope graduated from Lamar High School in Houston in 1940. She met Ray F. Paige through friends, and was married on August 25, 1940. Ray was a pharmacist who joined the Navy and served in World War 2, and their travels continued for the next 30 years. They moved to Huntsville in 1972 where he eventually retired. Known as "Nana" to her beloved family, she is survived by one daughter, Linda Halliday, and one son, Michael Ray Paige; five grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
The embodiment of class, not a person who knew her would have a negative thing to say about her. She was one of the kindest souls you could meet. Hope was active in the Huntsville Hospital Auxiliary for 30 years, donating her time and love. She attended First United Methodist Church of Huntsville and was active in the J.O.Y. Sunday Class. She enjoyed playing Bridge in several groups, and was a friend to many. She will be loved and missed.
