Justin Charles Lewis

Events

On Monday December 17, 2018, Justin Charles Lewis, loving husband and father, went to be with the Lord at the age of 50. Justin was born December 4, 1968 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Dean and Betty Lewis. Justin lived in Commerce, Texas the first 12 years of his life and then moved to Huntsville, Texas, where he finished high school. His education continued as he graduated from Sam Houston State University earning his degree in Business Administration.
Justin's family was always his highest priority. He loved his wife of 23 years dearly, Tracey Ann Lewis. His two sons Jace Gavin (16) and Reed Dean (12), were his pride and joy. He loved planning family outings for all four of them. Deer season was a special time for Justin and Reed. They shared a love for the outdoors and treasured their time together in their deer stand. Justin and Jace enjoyed fishing together and spent many hours alongside the "tank." He and the boys also enjoyed riding their dirt bikes and four wheeling while exploring state parks.
Justin was employed by Waller County Farm Bureau Insurance Company for 24 years. He was very successful and won many awards and accolades for his accomplishments within the company. A colleague of Justin's recently stated, "Justin was well-liked and highly respected throughout our company. I have never heard anyone say a bad word about him." In addition, Justin and his wife enjoyed numerous trips around the world due to Justin's professional success with Farm Bureau.
Justin was the epitome of a perfect example of the word "gentleman." He was compassionate, loving, genuine and the most kind hearted person. His sons could have no better role model as to how to live their lives.
Justin is survived by his parents, Dean and Betty Lewis, his wife Tracey and his sons Jace and Reed. His brother Trent and sister Amy also survive him. Justin will forever be in our hearts and always with us.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Kingsland Baptist Church, where a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, Tracey requests that donations be made to MDAnderson.org.
Funeral services held under the direction of Schmidt Funeral Home, 1344 W. Grand Parkway South, Katy, Tx 77494.
