Extending my condolences, thoughts and prayers to the Wilkinson family. I used to love listening to Kooter @ Leroy broadcasting football games. If there was some bad officiating, Leroy and Kooter would let you hear about it. My brother( Barry) would call me at my home in Austin, Texas from Huntsville during a game and place his phone near the radio. It was so hilarious listening to those guys. Mrs Wilkinson was also one of my most favorite teachers. RIP- Leroy.

I was very saddened to hear of Leroy's passing. . I had not seen him in a few years, but had actually thought about him ,last Sunday on my drive up to the Riverside Area. I had only been there a few minutes when a fellow classmate called to let me know that he had passed away. He was an extraordinary person and no doubt helped many youngsters through some trying times. he will be greatly missed.

My prayers for and fond memories of a Former Hornet Coach from the good old days. I fondly remember Leroy's laugh and he always said something funny but challenging to us. He was truly a Huntsville fixture and cant be replaced.
God's blessing to Lyndol through this time.
