Linda's Story

Linda Joyce Calvin Turner passed from this life to her heavenly reward on December 1. She was born in Houston to Hardy and Eloise Calvin on July 26, 1950, and grew-up and attended school in Galena Park, graduating from Galena Park High School in 1968. She spent her career years at the City of Houston and the Mayer Brown Law Firm. Linda and her husband Sonny have owned and operated the HEO Trucking Company in Houston for many years.
Preceded in death by her father (Hardy Calvin), sister (Rebecca Murphey), a son-in-law (Aaron Haag), and father-in-law (Howard E Ohnesorge, Sr), she leaves behind her husband of 34 years, Sonny Ohnesorge; two children, Cindy Masek (and husband Roger) of Sugarland and Angie Renee Turner of Austin; three grandchildren, Elyse, Zach, and Savannah; her mother(Eloise Wells); a brother (Donnie Calvin and wife Sharri); brother-in-law (Patrick Murphey); her mother-in-law (Wilmetta Ohnesorge); 4 sisters-in-law (Teena, Donez, Taunya, and Tracey); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held at the chapel of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, December 10 at 11:00 AM, with a family visitation at 10:00 AM.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful compassionate folks at Houston Hospice for the care extended to our loved one.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Houston Hospice, 1905 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, TX 77030) in the name of Linda Turner.
