Lutrena's Story

Lutrena Rena Davidson was born on June 1, 1976 in Huntsville, Texas. Where she attended Huntsville ISD and continued her education at Lone Star Community College. She was outgoing, driven and compassionate. Her smile and laughter greeted the room.
Lutrena dedicated her life to Christ at an early age. She was a member of New Growth Gospel Baptist Church. She worked with Huntsville ISD - Transportation Department for 16 years, where she began as a bus monitor and transitioned her career to Administrative Assistant. She spent most of her time making sure students and parents concerns were taken care of. She also worked diligently with Community Praise Ministry Organization for many, many years. She was the ultimate Houston Texans fan and would represent her team faithfully.
Lutrena will be remembered for her love and passion for her devoted husband, Author "Bo" Davidson. Lutrena began her life journey with "Bo" at the age of 15. She was a Sister, Mother, Aunt and friend to many. Her presence will be truly missed.
Lutrena is preceded in death by her father Phillip Archie, Jr.; grandparents Lester (Inez) Walker; Phillip (Margie) Archie, Sr.; aunts and uncles.
Lutrena leaves to cherish memories with her loving husband Author "Bo" Davidson; mother Doris Archie; three siblings Tameka (Terrence) Bell, Johnaton Archie of Huntsville, Texas, and Patricia (Byron) Hill of Pearland, Texas; aunt Lenora Richardson; uncles Lester (Martha) Walker, Jr., Charles Walker of Huntsville, Texas and Jim Houston of Houston, Texas; sister-in-laws Rochanda Davidson, Gwendolyn Hightower, and Tamara Ross of Huntsville, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loved ones and friends.
Lutrena will lie in state from 8:00 AM till 8:00 PM, with family receiving friends from 4:00 PM till 6:00 PM on Friday, June 17, 2016 at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville, Texas. A viewing for Lutrena will be from 8:00 AM till 10:00 AM with funeral services beginning at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at University Heights Baptist Church in Huntsville, Texas. Interment will follow the service at Paul Chapel Cemetery in Huntsville, Texas.
