Lyle's Story

Lyle Kay Ford passed away on January 2, 2018, while his stay in the hospital in Conroe, Texas.
He resided in Huntsville, Texas for many years. He was born November 4, 1937 in Rensselaer, Indiana. He is preceded in death by parents Walter Kay and Esther Price Ford. He is survived by his loving wife; Jannette Joy, children; Robert Mark, Wendi Kay, and Shelia Marie Ford, six grand boys; Adam, Derek, chance, Logan, Aaron, and Robert Ford, one granddaughter; Brandi Hurley, and ten great grandchildren.
Lyle graduated in May 1956 from TriCounty Senior High School in Wolcott, Indiana. He retired from GMAC Leads Plant in Missouri. His jobs were many but the one he loved most was Tool and Dye Maker.
He served his country in the United States Air Force and United States Army and received an honorable discharge.
Lyle was dedicated an loyal to the VFW 6899 of Trinity. He served as Chaplin until he retired, also helped in promoting and recruiting others.
Services will be held at VFW Post 6899 located at 400 W. Carolina Street, Trinity, Texas on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at 2:00PM.
