Marshall Guy Burleson was born in Conroe, Texas, on July 1, 1994 to his parents, Dr. Laura Keilers Burleson of Huntsville, Texas, and William Carlos Burleson of Riverside, Texas. He unexpected went into the loving arms of Jesus on December 26, 2017.
He was a loving father and devoted to his son, Cade Ryan Burleson. As a political science major, he attended Sam Houston State University and cared passionately about public policy and the importance of managing our earths limited resources. He was extremely fluent in electronic technology and always willing to lend a helping hand to family and friends.
Marshall is survived by his parents; a son, Cade Ryan Burleson of Huntsville, Texas; grandfather, Charles Henry Keilers, Sr. of San Angelo, Texas; aunt and uncle, Ginny and Danny Murphy of Norman, Oklahoma; uncle and aunt, Dr. Charles Henry Jr. and Marjorie Keilers of Los Alamos, New Mexico; uncle and aunt, David Keith and Melanie Burleson of Oakhurst, Texas; uncle and aunt Wallace Reid and Carol Burleson of Oakhurst, Texas; and uncle and aunt George and Sonya Lovell of Virginia, along with several cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Inez and Wallace Burleson, and Barbara Keilers.
Visitation with the family will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Sam Houston Funeral Home in Huntsville. Services will be held at Faith Lutheran Church on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 2:00 PM with graveside service at Center Hill Cemetery immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Faith Lutheran School, which Marshall attended as a child.
