Jean was a devout Christian. She loved to garden, as she came from a farming family. She also loved nature and her little poodle Bitty. She trained as a beautician, but her life's calling was as a wife and mother. She was a very strong woman, having overcome many obstacles in her life. She was able to see her grandson Cody one last time a few weeks ago, as he had been away for the past 8 years serving in the Marine Corp. They were able to go shopping on her last trip to town, on her birthday, and they planted some flowers when they got home.
