Mickey was born October 27th, 1949 in Jacksonville TX to Rev. James Ray Pippin and Ora Dee Pippin. She graduated from Rusk High School. She had a distinguished 31 year career with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
Mickey was born a bit wild and overcame an early onset of scoliosis to raise her two daughters to be as strong, independent and sassy as her. She loved to travel, both alone and with her daughter, Tara. (She also traveled to Utah once with Courtney but we don't talk about that very often.) She loved to read, especially about Vikings and we hope she is sailing with her Viking crew and beloved pet Fritzie now.
