Norman's Story

Norman Hugh Cox was born in Dalby Springs Texas, April 11, 1933. He was one of five children born to Thomas and Alice Cox. Norman passed into the arms of our Lord on September 1, 2016 in Huntsville, Texas.
Norman proudly served in the US Armed Forces. He retired after 30 years of service working for, TDCJ for the state of Texas. He loved to be home with his family and enjoyed watching television. He and his loving wife of 56 years Cannelia Cox loved to travel and spend time together. Norman and Connelia had three children Judy Ann Cox Cridland and husband Richard, Norman Lynn Cox and wife Tina, Darrell Wayne Cox and wife Wendy, five grandchildren Betty Carroll and husband Alton, Brittani Pressley, Matthew Pressley, Lynsey Cox, and Darrell Lee Cox, one sister also survives Sybil Herring.
Norman was a faithful member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, and would support his church in every way needed.
