Preacher Ron was one of the most personable genuine ministers I have ever known. He also had a great sense of humor. I have many great memories of his ministry at First Christian church in Huntsville Texas. R.I.P. dear friend

Ron helped us at FCC in Tyler as an interim pastor when we were in a search process for a pastor . Wonderful pastor and friend. He will be missed.

My first memory of Ron was in 1974 when my husband, Sidney Spain, and I recruited travelers to Israel with Jack Suggs/John Stewart as leaders and lecturers. We shared bus duty with Ron and had a blast.
Then we renewed acquaintance when Ron was interim at FCC in Tyler a decade ago. He has now finished the race and is in the loving presence of God.
