Haley D'anne Burk was born in Waxahachie, Texas on December 23, 1995. Haley suddenly went home to be with the Lord at the age of 21, on July 14, 2017, in Huntsville, Texas.
Haley, when she was born became everybody's baby, all her family had a special bond and a
special relationship with Haley; Shane ensured her friends and family all had a strong relationship and bond with her. Haley was a graduate of Trinity High School, class of 2014. During high school, she was captain of the Dance Team, chosen as the mascot for the Varsity Cheerleading team, elected Fair Queen for the Trinity Community Fair, she played softball, she was actively involved with Dorcas Wills Baptist church youth group, she had a great love for Disney movies, and she was inspired by listening to Beatles music. Haley was currently working two jobs one at the Cinestar Cinema of Huntsville and, the other at First Financial Bank, of Huntsville. She was attending Sam Houston College, and was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi. Haley's goal was to become a Registered Nurse and work in the medical field, as she had a passion to care for and help people in need.
Her brother Scott Allen Williford, maternal grandmother Susan Scott Sturgeon, grandfather Shirley "Chuck" Sturgeon, great-grandparents Eugene Milton Scott and Mary Beth Williamson Scott, were all waiting to greet her in Heaven as she entered the gates on Friday.
Haley leaves treasured memories for her mother Shane Williford, step-father Kevin Lynn Pringle, brother Dylan Ray Williford, father Charles Burk, Aunt Shari Sturgeon Wolfe and husband Kenneth, Aunt Robin Pringle Hoot and husband Jeff, Great Aunt Janet Whitener and Uncle Tom Whitener, and Great Aunt Ginger Scott. She is also survived by first cousins Kori Whitener Fellows and, husband Jeff Fellows, Keli and Jason St. Peter, Ashley and Mike Johse, Scott Wallace, Russell Wolfe, Tyler Wolfe, and Kandace Wolfe Clubb. In addition, she had a large extended family who loved and cherished her.
Her funeral service was held July 19, 2017 at Trinity High School at 11:00 AM. Haley will be laid to rest in Chalk Cemetery next to her grandparents and great grandparents.
