Jeanette's Story

Jeanette Marie Busa, 69, of New Waverly, Texas passed away suddenly on December 19, 2016. The first of five daughters, she was born to William and Martha Adamick on August 27, 1947.
Most of her life was spent in New Waverly, where she married Davis Busa and where they raised three sons.
In addition to her parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband Davis and her dear friend Jacinto Fuente. She leaves behind three sons; Joe Busa, Michael Busa and wife Terri, Tony Busa and wife Bridget; and five grandchildren: Clayton Busa, Justin Busa, Brandon Busa, Hudson Lee, and Harding Lee.
Jeanette was a very hard working, generous, loving, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church where she was baptized; married and now will be buried.
Jeanette and Davis loved dancing to Country Music. One of her favorite activities was playing Bunco. She never seemed to tire of this game. Another thing she enjoyed was gambling. She and her very good friend Carol Vinarski made many trips to Coushatta, and win or lose, they had a good time. Jeanette also loved to travel. She was always ready for a trip and was very excited about her upcoming cruise to Alaska.
Services will be held for Jeanette at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in New Waverly, Texas. Interment will follow at Elmina Cemetery in New Waverly. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 5:00 PM till 7:00 PM with rosary to begin at 7:00 PM in the chapel at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Tony Busa, Michael Busa, Joe Busa, Clayton Busa, Brandon Busa and Justin Busa.
Jeanette will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
