Julian I. Borbor Sr. went to be with our lord on September 5, 2016. He was born in Santa Elena, Ecuador, South America on January 23, 1946. Mr. Borbor had many occupations such as mechanic, taxi driver, boxer, and playing in a band. On August 31, 1972, he married the love of his life Alba Marlene Villalta Reyes and had 6 children, three boys and three girls. In 1979, he moved his family to Huntsville, TX. He retired from Monterey Mushroom after 25 years of service. His last wish was to go back to see his beautiful country Ecuador. He enjoyed the last few months of his life there until the day he passed away. He is preceded in death by his son Julian Borbor Jr. and Maria Tomala, his grandmother. He leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Alba M. Borbor and his children Vivian Borbor-Young, Flor Santos, Julio Borbor, Marjorie Borbor, Julio Borbor, Joel Borbor, and Jeannie Borbor as well as Dominga Suarez, his mother, Leonardo Borbor, his brother, and Maria Wesner, his sister. In addition, he leaves behind 19 grandchildren and many in laws, nieces, and nephews. He will be truly missed.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 17, 2016 at 15 John Kay Rd, Huntsville, TX 77340. Friends of the Borbor family are welcome to attend. If you have any questions please contact Vivian at 623-329-2650.
