Maryleeann Hall Bryan departed this world and entered joyfully into eternity to be with her Lord and Savior. Maryleeann, never a smoker, was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in July and passed peacefully without fear. She was a committed Believer and accepted her fate as God's will and her family accepted that God wanted her in His presence sooner rather than later. Maryleeann was a gem here on Earth and is now a bright and shining jewel in the Royal Diadem of the King of Kings.
Maryleeann was a multi generation native Texan brought up as one of four siblings in Huntsville. She graduated from Huntsville High School, then matriculated to Gulf Park College for Women for one year and thence to SMU where she graduated in 1959. It was during those years in Dallas she met Richard who was to be her husband for 55 years. Richard jokingly said many times that he married above his station but it was no joke. She was the best wife a man could have had and a wonderful mother to their two daughters, Christy and Laura. Laura bore her two grandchildren, Kate and Blake Sumner, who were the lights of her life for the last 16 years.
Maryleeann is survived by husband Richard, daughters Christy Bryan and Laura Sumner, brother Charles Hall, sister Nancy Hollis, grandchildren Kate and Blake Sumner, son-in law Warren Sumner and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family thanks Maryleeann's friends, too numerous to mention, for their help and meals during this difficult time. A memorial service will be held December 18 at
3PM in the sanctuary of The Lakeway Church. .
Her family requests no flowers but instead a donation to River in the Hills Church in Lakeway, Texas.
