Thomas's Story

Thomas Nelson Welle, also known as Tom, Tommy or The Repairman went home to check appliances and be with the Lord on Monday, July 11, 2016 at the age of 67.
Tom was born in Houston on November 25, 1948 to Monroe and Betty Welle. He graduated from Reagan High School, and began working for GE. He moved to Huntsville in 1971 to start B&W Appliance Service. Tom worked for 48 years as an appliance repairman before retiring.
Tom loved meeting new people and helping out as best he could. Tom was a faithful member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and a 4th Degree in the Knights of Columbus. He loved fishing, hunting, sports of all kinds, and talking with anyone about guns or reloading.
Tom is survived by his loving wife Christi (Reed) Welle; sons Dustin Welle and wife Aimee , of Axtell, and Thomas Welle Jr, of Belton; daughter Robin Welle, of Huntsville; granddaughter Paytyn Welle of Axtell; mother Betty Welle; sister Barbara Kremenezky of Houston; father-in-law and mother-in-law Kirk and Dixie Reed of Axtell; sister-in-law Tina Reed Brown and husband Joe David Brown of Marshall; and brother-in-law Jammie Reed and wife Melissa Reed of Fort Worth. He was loved by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his father Monroe Welle, his sister Martha Hartell and his brother Phillip Welle.
Tom will be greatly missed and memorials can be made to St. Thomas Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, or his children's college fund.
Also, just in case you were wondering, ALL appliances in Heaven are now fixed.
The family will receive friends at 5:00 PM with a rosary beginning at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville, Texas. A catholic mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Huntsville, Texas.
