Timothy Morris Speck, of Huntsville, Texas, loss his three year battle with cancer March 18, 2017. He was 64.
Born in 1953, Sante Fe, New Mexico to Elizabeth, and Morris Speck. Tim is survived by his son, Christopher Michael Speck, of Huntsville, Texas. Amma "Sissy" Davis of Huntsville, Texas, Step daughter, Erin Pruitt, of Huntsville, Texas, and Stepson, John Davis, and wife Samantha, of Huntsville, Texas. Grandchildren, Gracee Davis and Tyler Pruitt of Huntsville, Texas. Sister, Felecia Speck of Montana, Brother Stephen of Orange, Texas, and his daughter Brandi Speck Ancelet, of Orange, Texas, Brother Paul Speck, of Colorado. He was preceded in death by both parents.
Tim grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and Houston, Texas. He graduated from Lamar High School, in 1971. He enrolled in Sam Houston State University, and majored in Business. He pledged SSI. Tim played Tennis for SHSU. Tim worked nearly 30 years as a produce manager in the grocery industry. Most recently, he was employed as parking lot security, at Huntsville High School. He was affectionately known, "as the golf cart guy", he was a familiar face to many HHS students.
Tim's many interest included, Golf, Nascar Racing, Motorcycles, Classic Cars, Classic Movies, Rock Music, Karate, Football, Travel, Fine Cuisine, and Good Whiskey. He was a Member of, St. Thomas Catholic Church, and was devoted to his faith.
Tim was a good man, and his strength, kindness, and humor will be missed by many long time friends and family.
