Huntsville - Arline Clara Harris, born March 6, 1937, in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025 at her residence in Huntsville, Texas at the age of 88

years.

Arline is preceded in death by her beloved son Van Harris, her parents Lloyd Louis and Lucille Marie Fettet, and her older brother Lloyd Louis Fettet, Jr.

Arline leaves behind her devoted and loving husband of 69 years, Richard Gerald Harris, who stood by her and provided for her and their family. Deeply rooted in her New Orleans heritage, she loved visiting her hometown and sharing in the wonderful food of the region. She had a profound appreciation of beauty and her southern Louisiana upbringing that was reflected throughout the design of their home. Additionally, Arline delighted in traveling with her husband during his many business trips, as well as their personal and family trips.

Arline is survived by her large family, that includes her children: Bruce Harris (wife

Nadine), Connie Murray (husband Murray), Todd Harris (wife Jennifer), and Robb Harris (wife Claudia). Her legacy continues through her ten grandchildren: Chelsea Martinez, Stephanie Granger, Adam Harris, Danielle Harris, Sharon Parker, Mykel Murray, Adrianna Harris, Denis, Alexa Berganza, and Arline Harris. She is further survived by

ten great-grandchildren, with another on the way; and one great-great-grandchild.

Additionally, Arline is survived by her sister Barbara Reynolds, and her family, as well as her brother Charles Fettet, and his family.

for 10:30 am Saturday July 19, 2025 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, located at 1323 16th Street, Huntsville, Texas 77340.
