Donald Kenneth Shipley, Jr. passed away February 23, 2018 in Riverside, Texas at the age of 71. He was born September 20, 1946 in Houston Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents Donald Kenneth, Sr. and Nora Lee Shipley.
Donny is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Brenda Shipley, son Kenneth Bryan Shipley and wife Dena, son Kevin Layne Shipley, grandchildren Aaron Tyler Shipley, Sarah Nicole Shipley, Kayden Bryn Shipley, step-grandchildren Ciara Kopetski, Taylor Kopetski, brother Randall Kyle Shipley and wife Patricia, brother Russell Price Shipley and wife Margie, and sister Donna Lee Hughes.
Donny worked in commercial refrigeration all his life spending 10 years with Coopwood Air Conditioning Company. He and his wife Brenda are the owners of Huntsville Lanes Bowling Alley. Donny enjoyed science fiction movies, football, and cooking. He will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held Saturday March 3, 2018 at Waller-Thornton Funeral Home in Trinity, Texas at 11 A.M.
