Howard Philips, Jr. was born on February 17, 1933, in Houston, Texas, to Howard Philips, Sr. and Viola Zanders Philips.
Howard joined the Air Force in 1951 and served until his honorable discharge in 1955. He was a medical technician in the Korean War and received five medals of commendation.

His work ethic and devotion to his country were second to none. His passion and love of equines is something he proudly shared with his daughters.
May our beloved Howard be remembered for his benevolence, love, and generosity to his family, friends, and those in need.
