Huntsville, Texas - Jacqueline Anne Bickel, 82, passed away in Huntsville, Texas on February 3, 2025. Jacque was born in Holland, Michigan in 1942 to Albert Vander Sluis and Dorothy (Hubbard). Jacque was retired from the Windham School System at TDCJ; prior to that she worked as a civilian in administrative roles within the U.S. Army.

Jacque was preceded in death by her parents, son (Scott), and husband (Ivan).

She is survived by her sister, Nancy Smith of Newnan, Georgia; son, Pat Bickel of Copperas Cove, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Kim Bickel of Portland, Maine; daughter, Sandra Bickel of Cypress, Texas; grandkids, Ryan Bickel of Portland, Maine; Chris and Kayla of Biddeford, Maine; great grandkids, Elizabeth and William Bickel of Biddeford, Maine.

Memorial service for Jacqueline Bickel will be held Saturday, February 15th at 10:00am in the chapel inside Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 Normal Park Dr., Huntsville, Texas.
