Huntsville, Texas - Jimmy E. Riggs III was born on February 6th, 1982 in Houston Texas. Jim graduated from Haddam-Killingworth High School in Killingworth CT where he went on to study at WSCU and SHSU. He then explored the culinary arts at the Art Institutes of Dallas and Houston. His passion for good food led to a passion for organic gardening, which flourished into him becoming the CEO of Liver King Ranch, a dream come true for both him and his family of five.

Jimmy passed away on Sunday November 3rd 2024 at 42 years old. He is preceded in death by his father Jim Jr. and survived by wife Meagan, son Gus, daughter Gwennie, son Harry, mother Sandra (Scott), step-father Stephen (Deb), father-in-law Dave (Jill), brother Charles, brother Paul (Lauren).

None of us were prepared for you to go Jimmy. You were so full of life and taken away from us too soon. You were adored by all who knew you. We love you dearly.

Jimmy has touched the lives of many. All are welcome to attend his memorial service on Monday, November 18th, 9:00 AM for viewing, 10:00 AM for services at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 Normal Park Drive, Huntsville, TX 77340.
