Johnie Ruth Moses was born in Hull, Texas, February 23, 1942. She passed away in Conroe, Texas on November 10, 2023, at the age of 81.

Johnie has worked for the Greyhound Bus Company, as a waitress at the Catfish House, she was a caregiver for the elderly, and love to take care of children. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.

Johnie is preceded in death by father of her children John Orville Baker, son Randy Moses, son John Orville Baker, Jr., daughter Mary Ann McFerrin, grandson Dustin Langstaff, sister's Helen Davis, and Judy Davis Largent.

She is survived by her husband Bernard Wayne "Mo" Moses, children David Wayne Baker, James Douglas Baker and wife Lisa, Paul Neal Baker and wife Julie, Elly Mae Davis, Sandy Tomme; grandchildren Amos Baker, Skylar Baker, Christopher Baker and wife Lauren, Kevin Baker, and wife Kimberly, Justin Baker, Danielle Langstaff, Roy Baker, Kimberly Baker, Kari Houtz, Misty Rain Skidmore, Zane Baker, Tai Baker, Ivy Rose Baker, Caleb Tomme and wife Abigale, Samuel Tomme, and Adam Tomme and wife Erin; great-great-grandchildren Jasmine, Jason, Javone, Jazelle, Jaxon, Dyllan, Blayan, Jace, Carson, Weston, Waylon, Kaeleigh, Kenlee, Karame, Jaklynn, and Carson. Brothers Charlie Davis and wife Alma, Roy Davis and wife Ann. Numerous nephews and nieces also survive.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 14, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM at Waller-Thornton Funeral Home (672 FM 980 Huntsville, Texas). Interment to follow at Riverside Pioneer Cemetery, Riverside, Texas.
