Huntsville - Kevin Andrew Kelley, 35, of Huntsville, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, after battling a brain tumor.
Kevin was born on June 25, 1990, to Karen Kelley, and was later lovingly adopted and raised by Danny and Bonnie Kelley. He spent most of his childhood in Rockdale, Texas, where he made lifelong memories with family and friends. After graduating high school, Kevin attended Texas State Technical College in Waco before moving to Houston, where he would eventually meet the love of his life, April Baker. The two married on July 21, 2023, and later made their home together in Huntsville, where they shared their entire married life.
Kevin had a passion for cooking and worked as a chef, bringing joy and flavor to those around him. Outside of work, he found happiness in fishing, working out, playing cards, and spending time with loved ones. Kevin also enjoyed sharing his faith by reading and posting scripture, using his voice to spread God's word to others.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Danny and Bonnie Kelley; his grandparents, Lee and Nan Muston; his brother, Rusty Kelley Sr.; and his biological mother, Karen Kelley.
He is survived by his devoted wife, April Baker; four sisters; two brothers; numerous nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Kevin will be remembered for his kind heart, his love for family, his strong faith, and his determination to live life fully even in the face of hardship.
Funeral arrangements are set for Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM at A Church Without Walls 1304 Sam Houston Ave, Huntsville, TX 77340. A potluck lunch and time of fellowship will follow the service.
