Born on November 5, 1955, in Houston, Texas to Homer and Nellwyn Currie, went to her Heavenly home on March 14,2025.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Glenn Burnett, sister Nancy, and brothers Ricky and Chris.
She is survived by her daughter Kristy Burnett Hibbard and husband Douglas, daughter Melinda Burnett, son Dustin Burnett and wife Shera. Granddaughter Kassidi Burnett, grandsons Sid and Cory and great grandson Beau Burnett.
