Luther Lee Boone Jr. was born on August 24, 1945, to Luther Sr. and Lydia Gamble-Boone in Huntsville. He earned his wings to glory on August 27, 2019.
Luther has left behind memories with his children: Mona (Peaches) Boone, Meriyaki (Penny) Boone and Luther Boone III; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings: Iris Ross and Fountain Nell Boone, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
A celebration service for Luther will be Saturday, September 7, 2019, 11:00 A.M. at First New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow in Harper Cemetery in Huntsville, Texas.
