HALL OF FAME
By: Joyce Hamm
Our Hall of Fame recipient has been bowling in Montgomery County since almost the beginning of the organization of the association. She was a valuable part of the MCWBA board then and for many years to follow. She served in multiple positions, including association secretary in the 1967-68 season.
She was secretary for the Montgomery County 600 Club from 1975 through 1977 and a director for MCWBA in 1978 and 1979. She was also on the tournament committee in 1978 and 1979.
She bowled in 35 state tournaments, 25 national tournaments and all local and County tournaments. She remained very active on the MCWBA board and was presented lifetime membership in 1988-89.
She had many other accomplishments throughout her bowing career, which lasted well into 2021.
I am so proud to be able to have looked up to this wonderful lady throughout the years and to call her my friend.
So, at the age of 94 years, I am honored to present Ms. Pauline Brumley with this plaque and congratulate her on her induction into the Montgomery County Hall of Fame.
Pauline also provided me with the history of our Bowling Centers her in Montgomery County. Thank you so much for that.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home and she will be laid to rest at Brooke Cemetery on FM 980 at 12noon. Memorial condolences may be made to the family at www.shmfh.com.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and staff of St. Joseph Hospice. We are so grateful for the care you gave to Pauline.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.
Tree Planting Timeline
Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
