Rudy L. Owen, Jr. passed away on February 14, 2025, after a yearlong battle with cancer and major heart surgery. He leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Kathy Kenesson Owen, children: Terry (Ann) Owen; Dawne McKinley; Scott (Traci) McKinley; and Dara Owen; as well as eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Rudy served as a pastor for over 35 years in Texas.
A celebration of his life will be held at Covenant Fellowship, Huntsville, TX on Saturday, March 1, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. Reception for family will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Covenant Fellowship Building Fund or Celebrate Recovery.
